THE SCORE: PROGRESSIVES 2, REPUBLICANS 0
BOTH MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES HAVE BEEN NULLIFIED BY A CENTURY OLD PROGRESSIVE PARTY INITIATIVE TO REPLACE PARTIES WITH PRIMARIES!
The Progressive Media declared that the Presidential Nomination Process for both Republicans and Democrats was over prior to the June 27 CNN “Presidential Debate”.
At that time, delegates to the Republican National Convention had reason to believe that, at the very least, they still had the right to choose the “VEEP” candidate for their party.
Not so!
Progressive Media’s false reporting about the Presidential nomination process gave “cover” to the Progressive Republicans running the Republican National Convention.
Prior to the Republican National Convention they unleashed their “fake news” apparatus on the Republican VEEPSTAKES, creating the false impression that the Presidential nominee “picks” the Vice Presidential candidate.
In my previous post, “Progressives 1: Republicans 0”, I detailed steps the Republican delegates could have taken to nominate the Republican Candidate for Vice President.
Sadly, the Progressive Republicans in charge of the Convention chose to assign the delegate’s right to choose the Vice President to the “presumptive” Presidential nominee.
Progressive Republican “leaders” have deprived all members of the Republican Party of their Constitutional Right, by and through their delegated representatives to the National Convention, to choose their candidates for President and Vice President.
Final score: Progressives 2: Republicans 0!
THAT WAS THE FINAL NAIL IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY’S COFFIN!
PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATIC LEADERS KILL THEIR PARTY, TOO!
The Progressive leadership of the Democratic Party mugged their delegates to the Democratic National Convention very cleverly and effectively.
First, with the help of the complicit Progressive media, they fooled their delegates into thinking that the primary results had conclusively nominated Joe Biden.
CNN even hosted a “Presidential Debate” featuring the major party nominees for President, Donald Trump and Joe Biden, weeks before either party’s national convention.
But, when the wheels came off the Biden Wagon, Progressive Democrats wasted no time.
Delegates? Convention?
No time for that.
Progressive Democratic “Leadership” quickly convened a ZOOM meeting of the DNCC Convention Rules Committee on July 24 which, according to the DNC website, “voted to adopt the Permanent Rules of the 2024 Democratic National Convention by a vote of 157-3.”
In one short ZOOM meeting the Progressive Democratic leaders did three things to deprive their delegates of their Constitutional Right to choose their candidates for President and Vice President.
They nullified the primary votes of every Democratic voter who cast a vote.
They created rules that guaranteed only one individual would be eligible for nomination for President.
The gave the only individual eligible to be nominated for President the exclusive power to choose the Vice Presidential candidate.
Here is where it actually gets kind of funny!
At about 8:50 Central Time on August 6, CNN was first with “BREAKING NEWS” that the Democratic Party’s candidate for Vice President had been chosen.
Then, CNN News Central anchors John Berman, Kate Bolduan and Sara Sidner brought on Maria Cardona, a CNN political commentator.
Here is where Cardona added some color to the Democratic process as she described the ZOOM call from her perspective as a member of the DNCC Convention Rules Committee.
Cardona related that as she scanned the ZOOM screen for the source of the voice of the chair of the meeting, she was surprised to finally pick him out as “a guy sitting in a car wearing a T-shirt and a baseball cap”.
That guy, the co-chair of the DNCC Convention Rules Committee, is the newly minted Democratic Party candidate for Vice President of the United States, Tim Walz.
No need for delegates and conventions anymore! A few large ZOOM meetings will suffice.
And with that, Progressive Democratic Party leaders deprived all members of the Democratic Party of their Constitutional Right, by and through their delegated representatives to the Democratic National Convention, to choose their candidates for President and Vice President.
Well-stated and another indication of the sad state of affairs permeating our society and the institutions that have served our country well for over two centuries. Kem Schwieder
