Big Lie
A “big lie” is an extreme distortion of the truth, used for the purpose of spreading propaganda. It is often somewhat outrageous.
In theory, people will more easily believe a big lie than a smaller one, because most people assume that there is evidence to support any statement of great magnitude.
The term was coined by Adolph Hitler in his autobiography, Mein Kampf. Hitler wrote that “the great masses of the people… will more easily fall victim to a big lie than to a small one.”
Hitler claimed that if propagandists repeated a big lie often enough, people would come to accept it. Eventually, that big lie would inform people’s thinking on other related issues.

This, and future posts, will expose each “Big Primary Lie” as they are published.
Recent Big Lies:
From Elaine Kamarck, author of “Primary Politics”.
“A few months ago, I helped create the now conventional wisdom which says that a large field of challengers will help Trump because the Republican winner-take-all or winner-take-most delegate selection rules are tailor made for a candidate who holds a solid base among primary voters and who can wrack up a series of plurality wins.

Elaine was kind enough to explain the Genesis of the “Big Primary Lie” that “plurality primary wins” will determine the Republican nominee and introduce this lie as “conventional wisdom”.
Merriam Webster dictionary defines: conventional wisdom
noun
: the generally accepted belief, opinion, judgment, or prediction about a particular matter.
A “generally accepted belief” should not be published as factual by ethical journalists unless it can be verified.
Therefore, watch for the Big Lie, “conventional wisdom”, when used in connection with news about primaries.
Merriam Webster again: verify
verb
verified; verifying
: to establish the truth, accuracy, or reality of
From The American Press Institute: Journalism as a discipline of verification
Journalists often describe the essence of their work as finding and presenting “the facts” and also “the truth about the facts.”
So, can this “conventional wisdom” be verified?
Republican winner-take-all or winner-take-most delegate selection rules are tailor made for a candidate who holds a solid base among primary voters and who can wrack up a series of plurality wins.
Many “journalists” have been using the term “conventional wisdom” as they parrot the popular narrative that primaries actually determine the Republican nominee.
We look forward to the opportunity to publish verification of ANY evidence that proves primaries are “binding” upon the voting delegates at the 2024 Republican National Convention.
Watch Newt Gingrich display his ignorance!
Newt Gingrich proudly predicted that the former President could be the Republican nominee by March, 2024!
See this nonsense at about the 4:50 mark on the Fox News clip of the Ingram Angle.
